Job Responsibilities:
Develop welding procedure specifications (WPS) and welding procedure qualification reports (WPQR); perform welding procedure qualification, new product prototyping, and process optimization.
Perform routine non-destructive testing (NDT) including UT, RT, MT, and PT.
Analyze root causes of welding defects, formulate corrective and preventive actions, and oversee rework and re-inspection.
Manage the full lifecycle of welding consumables — selection, storage, and issuance.
Conduct daily training, skill assessments, and certification management for welders.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Welding, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, NDT, or related fields.
Familiarity with welding processes for various common materials.
Proficiency in UT, RT, MT, PT testing techniques and acceptance criteria.
